Celtic Worship
by Ray Simpson

Synopsis
A wonderful resource to guide worship in the Celtic tradition. People today "hunger for a rhythm of worship that has roots but is not too 'churchy', that reflects the human concerns of our time yet also lets heaven into our everyday world. People want a framework for worship that enables them to relax, to experience awe, and also to express spontaneity, variety and local colour."

Review
The book's five main sections, Worship Through the Week, Five Night Prayers, A Celtic Holy Communion, Some Special Celebrations and Praying With the Celtic Saints provide a rich source of inspiration for personal meditation and study, as well as corporate worship.

Ray has managed to craft a work that will provide inspiration all the year round, whilst remaining fresh even on revisiting. Highly recommended and an excellent resource for anyone even vaguely interested in the 'Celtic Christian Spirituality'.
